My only other question, in one aspect here, is if me being picked at and bullied by someone on purpose and watching me in private made me damage the nerves in my arms hitting my desk ... making it impossible to learn to play violin, when an Asian with one arm could still do it.
... I got diabetes maybe around 2010, after taking pills for high cholesterol. I chose not to go on insulin. When I had pre-diabetes, no one cared. I also got on pills for schizophrenia.
I take a high dosage of pills now, and it makes me tired.
I was recommended many times to go on Pinterest to look for ideas of what to afford to eat healthily, and it's saved my life.
• Get a pitcher that catches fruit from coming out when you pour from it and you put fruit in it. Fill it with cold water and ice. Put in the fruit of your choice, sliced, maybe somewhat medium small, like I did. I used lime and lemon so far. I would also try grapefruit, types of oranges, and whatnot. It energizes you, better than an energy drink, I think. You can get it throughout the day, and you'll be awake.
• Go on Pinterest and make boards and sub-boards for your food needs. I like to always have a dessert, so far it's been rather fattening things not from Pinterest mostly yet but boxes. I intend to use Pinterest. I found that the lunches of things like vegetables with meat on them weren't always to my fancy, but we'll see what happens. I might try to make bento boxes.
• Well, I tried some chicken (supposed to be wings) with spices and liquids or whatever on them, and the first recipe was great here!
• It's better to eat enough than nothing, so if I need to I throw spaghetti on and pour in frozen meatballs and sauce, pretty quick fixer upper, as it can be ready it seems in 15 minutes or under and not hard to do. I separate the spaghetti and sauce, and I like butter on the spaghetti.
• A trick is to use maybe small or any size taco shells with tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, and maybe pepperoni, and bake it to make an easy, somewhat healthier pizza.
• Don't be afraid to get a bag of mix to make cookies or brownies, if you need something right away rather than just trashing yourself with stuff that you don't always want. I've tried a lot of creative boxed desserts and moved on to other recipes.
So, don't go crazy like a cackling chicken if you have diabetes and don't know what to do. I haven't tested my blood sugar lately. I know you can lower your A1C, like I took 3 classes at the gym in 1 day and swam and went maybe 4 days a week or 5. My A1C went down like 3 or 4 points. I also was healthy and had vegetable powder drink, chocolate flavor which of course didn't taste chocolate, to keep me going throughout the day with some substance, one time, and my A1C was probably much better from that, maybe making Hello Fresh, too. I used to walk and jog every day, too. I listened to music walking. I jogged 1/2 hour.
So, next month, I'm using my money to eat good from Pinterest, and I hope to exercise enough around work at McDonald's, sorting out vegetables etc. I'd like to see my A1C be good. I heard it may be possible to even get rid of or "reverse" diabetes, but usually I think it stays and can be kept low. I'm counting on things like the water with infused fruit and the recipes on Pinterest that are good and maybe healthy. They seem pretty good and interesting, don't take all day and not too hard. I'm getting used to getting things ordered from the grocery store (have no car) and it's getting easier.
I probably got diabetes mostly from stopping exercising and not eating well, anymore, trapping myself in my room for a time posting online and hiding from my family in Orlando... and the cholesterol pills.
